Love-filled Lunch Boxes Warm the Cockles of Elderly’s Heart

The Mid-Autumn Festival is an important traditional festival in China which symbolizes reunion and happiness. The Team of Care held a volunteer activity on September 7, 2024, to send blessings to the elderly. The Team of Care together with the "Yang Memorial Methodist Social Service Choi Hung Community Centre for Senior Citizens", visited the elderly who live in Choi Hung Estate and the nearby area on the eve of the Mid-Autumn Festival. They delivered gift packages to express their care and share the joy of the festival with the elderly. The elders were particularly gratified by the volunteers’ visit.
