For having a more sustainable Christmas through creative design and waste utilization, the Henderson Property Management Department called on all estate residents to recycle aluminum cans and launched the "We CAN! ESG Christmas" in 2024. This activity successfully collected over 10,000 used cans upcycled to a Christmas tree and placed them in all estates. The Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony was successfully held on 13 December 2024. We want to thank Mr. Suen Kwok Lam, the Executive Director of Henderson Land Development Group, Mr. Cheng Wing Shun, a Legislative Council Member and Chairman of GDCD Association, Miss Lam So Wai, a Legislative Council Member, Miss Chow Kit Bing, Mr. Norman Mak, Miss. Chan Ngar Lai, the Principal of Mary Rose School, Mr. Paul Chan, the Chief Executive Officer of HK ESG School, and all the guests for attending the event to support environmental protection. Mr. Suen Kwok Lam stated that the Property Management Department of Henderson Land has always prioritized environmental protection. After Christmas, the aluminum cans used to create the Christmas trees across all estates will be recycled, further promoting waste reduction.
