Showing care to the elderly on Dragon Boat Festival

Yang Memorial Methodist Social Service - Choi Hung Community Centre for Senior Citizens organized the “Dragon Boat Festival Elderly Care Programme”, which mobilized volunteers to visit the elderly living alone in the area on the eve of the Dragon Boat Festival every year. More than 40 volunteers from Team of Care visited the elderly in Choi Hung on the afternoon of 17 May, giving them gifts and showing care to add to the joy of the festival. The volunteers said that the activities were very meaningful and hoped to participate in more volunteer activities to contribute to society.
