Charity Work Does Not Stop by the Pandemic

2021-02-19

Though the pandemic never seems to be far, it doesn’t stop the Oxfarm Trail Walkers. This year, “Oxfarm Trial Walker – Virtually Together” continues in a different way. Participants could not walk the way it used to be, to have the actual support and refill stations along the trail due to the pandemic restrictions. However, they persisted to finish the 100KM trail within 48 hours by their strong will. On 19 February 2021 at 11am, colleagues from Hang Yick, Mr. Wong Kong Sung and Mr. Yeung Ka Fai started their challenge in Pak Tam Chung Sai Kung, and finished at Tai Tong Yuen Long. During the day, the sun was shining up bright while the temperature dropped drastically at night. Despite the challenging weather, they managed to finish the 100KM trail in 23 hours 40 mins and 23 hours 45mins respectively. During the challenge day, colleagues went in person to show their support to the athletes and ran with them on the sides which greatly demonstrated our excellent team spirit!
