To enhance the truth meaning of “Year of Youth”, with a focus on projects that will cover a range of issues relating to youth development. Teenagers would be able to make progress proactively and demonstrate perseverance. Henderson Land Group Property Management Department has been fully manifested its commitment to support the “Service-Learning Scholarship Scheme”. Service-Learning programme is mandatory credit-bearing subjects as part of the undergraduate curriculum of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University(PolyU). The programme connects professional education with societal needs, providing students with opportunities to better appreciate various social issues from a wider perspective. The Scheme is to reward students with outstanding performance in Service-Learning subjects. Ranking the top four students in the programme, are nominated for the “Hang Oi Charitable Foundation Service-Learning Foundation Scholarship” in this year. All the scholarship recipients will be required to join a leadership training workshop offered by the Office of Service-Learning and complete 20 hours of service in support of the implementation of the Service-learning subjects/projects of PolyU.
